Conveniently located at 5A Spruce Street (off Route 111) in West Acton Center, Continental Café's goal is to meet the needs of our customers by providing fresh, delicious food and drinks in a friendly, relaxed environment. We specialize in serving freshly roasted gourmet coffees, and are proud to announce that we are now using coffee that is Triple Certified at Origin (Organic, Shade Grown, Fair Trade) for all our coffees, including our espresso blend. We train our staff extensively to provide the area's best cappuccinos, lattes and espressos. Chai drinks, soy milks and specialty cold drinks, such as smoothies and blended coffee drinks, are also available. Our commitment to wholesome, environmentally sound products also applies to our milk: we use hormone-free milk in all our drinks, and the dairy we use gives 10% of its profits back to the environment.
Continental Café offers a wide array of tempting, freshly-baked goods which are made from premium ingredients in our on-site bakery. Muffins, croissants, bagels, quiche, cheesecake, pies, rugelach, cookies, and scones are just some of the freshly baked goods we have every day. Need a whole quiche, a cake for a special occasions or large quantities of smaller items? Stop by or call and place an order, we'll have it boxed and ready for pickup at your specified time. 48-hour notice requested for bakery orders, but we will try to accommodate last minute requests.
The café has long been known for its delicious wraps and sandwiches; people love our platters! We use only the freshest and finest ingredients in our sandwiches: Boar's Head deli meats, cheeses and condiments; vine-ripened tomatoes; crispy romaine lettuce; freshly baked baquettes and gourmet wraps. We offer several vegetarian options, including a choice of four vegetarian cheeses: american, swiss, provolone & pepper jack! Call us to order your sandwiches in advance and they will be ready for you when you arrive. Click here or scroll down to see our Sandwich/Wrap menu.

We support local artists at the Continental Café. The art on the walls is for sale and is supplied by talented local artists. The art is shown for a month and then a new artist takes over the café for a whole new look. The art is changed on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, and that night, from 6:30-8:30, we host a reception to welcome the new artist. The reception is free and open to the public. See article in The Beacon about our recent "Gourmet Art" show of the talented Junior & Senior Portfolio class from Acton-Boxborough Regional High School.
